I decided to try the hot and sour chicken soup recipe from the Soup Sisters and Broth Brothers cookbook. This is not your typical hot and sour soup. While it was a tasty soup it does not resemble the traditional hot and sour soups I usually enjoy. The soup was very meaty and the sour was subtle. It had an option in the recipe to make it with black vinegar or worschestershire sauce. I choose the worschestershire sauce as it saved me from running to the store. It is a good soup for a cold day. I used one red Chili per 2 bowls so it got the nose running a bit.
